  Stewart is an amazing teacher and his shala is perfect for beginners and seasoned practitioners alike. There is great energy in the shala from Stuart and his students - highly recommended to anyone looking for a home for their practice.

  Very peace and warm place, Stewart’s adjustments are very gentle but also strong, I felt very safe and respected. If I’d live In Wellington, I would join is Mysore Class on a daily basis. It’s in the middle of the city, but in the Shala it feels like away from the world. I’d definitely come back.

  Yoga practices at Mysore Yoga Wellington is so far the best remedy that helps me to adapt to lots of differences here in Wellington and more importantly helps me to find joy and satisfaction from within. Stewart and all other teachers are very caring and supportive. Stewart taught me not to worry too much about yoga levels or yoga poses that I make; but just relax, feel the sensation and enjoy the breathing and movements. And this really works for me as it works for so many other people who have practiced for years. I now feel much more joyful and balanced thanks to frequent practices. Big thanks to Stewart, Ari, Cecilia and highly recommended to everybody.

  If you’re looking for a place to do yoga in Wellington, I highly recommend Mysore Yoga Wellington! You can practice traditional Ashtanga yoga with the guide of reliable instructor Cameron who has accurate & helpful adjustment technique. As you know, yoga works to you in many ways and especially if you’re a beginner to the Ashtanga yoga, you will soon be able to feel your life is starting to change alot both in mentally/physically. Students of all levels are welcomed here and Cameron will give you the best guidance/advice definitely! Cameron is very friendly, thoughtful and warm person, and everyone will find it a lot of fun to be with him.

  This class offers a calm, peaceful and non pressured environment for learning ashtanga yoga. It offers an authentic approach to this ancient art, which is fantastic for wellbeing in a number of ways. There aren't too many people and the instructor is always on hand to help. As a complete beginner I really appreciated their firm but gentle approach. It's really good value money-wise too, and the flexible start and finish times mean that you can turn up when it suits and practise for however long suits on the day. Highly recommended!
