  It’s been great dinner night at Namaste. Great food and lovely staff to serve. Will return again.

  I Visited with my family to this restaurant last night around 8:30pm. We ordered $100 worth of Dinner for take away. Firstly, we had to wait for 45 minutes for the food to be cooked. Which itself was the worse experience we ever had. Our bill was $99 which I Intended to pay through one of their $100 Bartercard voucher. The staff on duty had to ring the owner to find out if there was any other terms and conditions attached to this apart from using it in a single go. Unfortunately, I was told that I can't use that voucher for the food I ordered as I had to tell them this before ordering. Now they left me thinking what difference would that have made to the whole situation. Would they compromise with the quality or quantity if they knew I was using this voucher. I was told that, I can eat that food in the shop and will not be allowed to take what was left??? What a joke! After, all these arguments, the manager on Duty rang the owner again explaining that the food was already cooked and wont make a difference if they let me take this food. The owner didn't care. To me it looks that they were making their own terms and conditions. Owner wasn't willing to listen to anyone. I even insisted that I was happy to pay an extra 10% surcharge as they always charge if we were paying through Bartercard. Now the manger made a third call to the owner asking for approval. I was shocked with the owners condition. He told the staff to value my voucher at $60 and that means I will lose $40. I was literally upset and left the place without any dinner. I must say that the staff did their best to explain the situation to their Owner who didn't care about anything. Shame on you for such a poor customer service. People like you add a bad name to the whole community.

  . (06/2017) Visited after a long time. Last time we were here, it was known as Simla Indian Cafe & Takeaway and we had a memorable experience. We were happy to notice that despite the change in management and ownership, the deliciousness in food, amazing ambiance and the service standards were well maintained. Enjoyed the experience. ...................................... (06/2013) Really liked the typical Caribbean ambiance on that day. Good service and delicious food.
