  Such a lovely young man at the 12 items or less checkout, so polite, well presented with a friendly warm smile. As travellers I found the shop to be very well stocked, clean and enjoyable to stop at. Cheers Matamata 😍

  Fresh produce with friendly staff. Especially Joshua in produce. Very helpful.

  Fresh produce and friendly staff but today as I went for a quick shopping trip with my kids, 2 staff members were super rude to one of my kids. As my eldest was driving the trolley and as we went into the baking aisle there were the 2 staff members having a chat, my daughter said "excuse me" 3 times and they still didn't move so she tried to not hit the trolley that had a bunch of boxes, she accidentally hit the trolley and apologized immediately but the staff members didn't accept her apology, instead one of them said "I hope you somehow get your driver's license." And then they laughed! I was furious and my daughter was about to cry and it wasn't her fault, it was their fault because they didn't move in the first place!
