  Told to get out with my bike. Shopping trolleys ok, but push bike apparently beyond the pale. Maybe they thought I would conceal a pack of chicken drumsticks in the spokes? Shame as its well positioned for commuters who want to grab something quick and until I was busted was in a rush. Self build salad bar is pretty weird and the sandwiches are not great. Recommend they check out NW Lincoln for guidance on what it should look like.

  Used the new system for fast shopping with your own scanner, as like to get in and out quickly. It was explained that there are random scanner checks, and this would happen only 3 times. I had to get one yesterday and also today, so it actually takes me way longer, I realize these things have to get done but twice in 2 days?? Also got 2 phyllos from the deli and they were very irregular in size but the same price

  So disappointed that their range has actually decreased from that of their old South City Mall store. There are 4 items that I can think of that I can no longer buy at this store. Not making much sense to shop here any longer. Much quicker to go to Countdown and get everything I need in one shop. Shame...I was so looking forward to the new 'improved' store. Lovely staff though.

  Great new super market here. Reminds me much more of hypermarche in Europe. Clean well presented and very pleasant. I can't fault new world supermarket s they do a good job. Although you do pay a bit more than opposition supermarkets it is worth it in my opinion. I've lived in Auckland for several years now Christchurch they are all very good.

  This new supermarket is presented very well. All the staff were friendly and helpful. They have some new things such as a machine to peel and chop your pineapple and a station where you can refill your Ecostore containers. There was also a good selection of gluten free products.
