::The lake is around 30 minutes drive from Hamilton City Centre. The car park is right close to the entrance of the walking track. It's a 90 minutes walk around the lake, you might better visit the toilet before you start the walk. The toilet is just next to the car park. Signs with information and illustrations about the local ecology make the walk more educational. The walk is flat and well-maintained. A hat and sun block is needed.
