::Nikau has an ideal selection of lunch options, not too many overwhelming choices, but more than enough to find something that will hit the spot. Plus a tempting array of counter options.

::Great coffee, delicious food. The kedgeree is so good.

::I ordered the poached eggs. Nikau like to serve their poached eggs almost raw and stone cold. I sent them back to the kitchen and what they sent back was only slightly better. I was asked if the second lot of eggs was better than the first when going to pay, to which I replied "not really", but I was still charged for them. I was then told by the staff member that maybe it's boiled eggs that I'm after! No I'm not!! I've had loads of poached eggs before (I eat them almost every day) and they aren't served to me looking like snot! Maybe try and improve how you cook the eggs and don't be condescending to your customers. The two stars are only for trying to sort the issue out, not for the food. If you'd offered me a refund I wouldn't leave a bad review. There are much better cafes in Wellington to go to for breakfast.

::Very beautifully made and lovely flavors. You can taste the freshness in it. Wee down side needs a little bit more smaller meals for parents. Amazing staff
