  I have to say I had to deal with these guys what a bunch of cowboys, the head office is hopeless and defends their poor management and laughable staff customer relations look elsewhere they are terrible to deal with.

  I had an insurance claim in March 2018 that took 6 weeks with no contact, I had to ring three times was not called back until I insisted on some action and had made complaints as my car was exposed with a temporary glass and I had to get dropped to work, they finally fixed it after a battle now the window does not wind up, they blamed me. The staff are keen but sadly due to management poorly trained, a lady owns the business and is extremely inattentive to the staff and the customers THERE ARE OTHER COMPANIES YOU CAN SUGGEST TO YOUR INSURER don't go here, it's a disaster.

  I contacted Novus Te Rapa and tried to book in my vehicle to have the window screen replaced. They took all my details and never rang me back like they said they would. Couldn’t wait after a week so contacted Smith & Smith who did it straight away.

  I am never using any branch of Novus ever again after my experience here. Novus gave me the wrong windshield, then repeatedly stalled and lied to State (my insurance provider) about what was available and what they had said to me. I sent State a recording proving they lied to me, State then paid for me to go to Smith and Smith and get the proper windshield. Basically I think Novus were scamming State, charging for the expensive better windshield (that they said they'd give me) , and giving me the cheap one instead.

  Specifically asked the lady if she could please ring me when the job was done as I had to kill 4 hours in Hamilton with two kids on a hot day. She said absolutely I understand. After 4 hours i returned and car was done. Actually only took them 2 hours to fix. Lacking communication but apart from that the job was done quick. Bit of brown residue left on the windscreen too.
