  Alistair and Shirley are two of the kindest people I have ever met. I had broken my leg the day before we booked in to Oak Lodge and the service and treatment my husband and I received was marvelous. The room was lovely and spacious, very clean and I have to say was my only decent night's sleep on the whole of our trip, it was so comfortable. They very kindly brought breakfast to our room as I was pretty incapacitated. I will never forget their hospitality and Oak Lodge was warm and friendly just like them. Thank you both once again. PS I forgot to mention Shirley, those blueberry muffins you baked and we took with us were absolutely delicious, the best ever thank you.

  Perfect lodge to stay for quiet and lovely night(s). Great rooms! Large and comfy! And try the awesome homemade blueberry muffins for breakfast. They’re to die!

  Beautifully decorated, very clean, awesome sunset view & very friendly & helpful hosts. Highly recommended!
