  Buzz kill - time is the word. The staff announcing closures every 15-30min - very informative yet overwhelmingly annoying! I was disappointed to discover that the pools (as a whole) do not close at 10pm as advertised, instead, 9pm the lap pools close, 9:15pm the sauna and steam room close, 945pm the two hotter pools need vacating, and to top it off, mat dusting and noisy vacuum cleaning starts at 945pm! Ocean Spa is a good example of an incredible tourism venue, one that my hometown Wellington desperately needs. Unfortunately it is tarnished my distressed time consurned staff and money driven systems. Close at 10pm, then keep the staff on till the pools are serviced. Pools are for relaxing... not stressing over which pools are accessible.

  I felt so relaxed after going there! There's really nice tubs, steam bath and a sauna.

  The private spa pool was teped with no water jets and blinds that I had to climb around the edges of the pool to pull them down. In short needs maintenance. Not sure about the rest or the complex.

  Nice pools good range of pool sizes and temperatures. Paddling pool needs lining reattached and hot pool could do with better filtration as quite alot of debris. With these two fixed would be 5 stars for us :)

  Good helpful staff always three or four walking round by the pools just keeping an eye on everyone ensuring no running or jumping in pools they have two hot pools with jets in one large warm pool with a couple of warm water fountains. 1 pool with 1 cold water fountain with slope 1cm to 40cm deep 1 pool with overhead bridge 20cm to 75cm 1 laned pool 25mtres PLEASE NOTE. All measurements are APPROXIMATE ONLY...
