::Olive has come into its own in recent years. It used to be a good go-to for brunch / lunch, with a less enticing dinner offering. But it has become a vege/vegan haven with exciting new recipes, ideas, and special dinner offerings. One of a kind in the city.

::I had the vegan spaghetti. I am not vegan nor vegetarian, but it sounded delicious. It was made with a white bean sauce and included eggplant and kale. It was truly the best pasta I have ever eaten. The flavors were perfectly paired, and the kale was crisp and perfectly cooked. The only thing I wish is that I had ordered more of it! The service was really good and my husband ordered the eggs on sourdough which was also delicious. I highly recommend this place and will be thinking about it for years to come. There is also an outdoor seating area in the back that was set in a beautiful garden. It's the perfect place for brunch with friends or a lunch date

::I love Olive! Food is beautiful (and reasonably priced). The staff are great and super helpful with unusual orders. And the courtyard out back is lovely!

::Dined here for Saturday brunch and wished I had another day in Welly so I could go back! Casual courtyard dining space with smoking/non-smoking areas. I had the tuna melt - the photo doesn’t do it justice! The perfectly seasoned tuna mix was rolled up and served with dollops of delicious mayo dressing. Also my flat white coffee was very good.

::Visited for Sunday brunch. Service was excellent with very attentive staff. Food was delicious. Best scrambled eggs ever! Coffee also impressive. Would definitely return.
