  We rented a compact car for 18 days with Omega and the experience was excellent. Both pick-up and drop-off instances were straight forward, very quick paperwork and the staff was very kind. Also the location in Downtown Auckland is very convenient, walking distance from where most tourists stay and very close to the highway so it's easy to leave the city without going through it.

  The website experience is good and rates are very good compared to other companies. Communication lacking. On booking I requested a pick up. Was advised to ring the day before. Spoke to someone who confirmed pick up. Next day had to ring again. Payment was an issue. I booked on their website and was charged the day before pick up. Then again when I picked up the car. When I brought this to their attention they said it was my bank that was at fault. I rang the bank and they said that Omega had taken 2 payments. Now I have to lodge a dispute which may take up to 40 days. What a hassle. Make sure you check your credit card if booking online. I’ll never use them again if they don’t resolve this issue. So far no one has contacted me for a resolution. Or even assured me this will be fixed.

  everything from the price to the customer service was great for us. we recently rented for a week and it was exceptional. the cost of the hire was very affordable and the whole process up to the dropoff in wellington was great. i would highly recommend this car rental and it is definitely my first choice for future rentals.

  Great prices and service. Was all very easy to deal with, picking up and drop off. Not a brand new car BUT was fine for our extended holiday in NZ. Toyota Corolla was the perfect car for a couple with 2 big suitcases and a couple of carry on bags.

  Undoubtedly the best service i have received from a rental company. Quick, efficient handling of the request from a very professional and friendly member of staff. No extra for added driver or leaving car at airport though it was booked in town. Even insurance - always a bugbear - was over and done with quickly. To top it off, a free shuttle from drop off point to airport was provided. All for $40 per day before insurance. We shall look out Omega for our next rental, for sure.
