  I have been using the services of One Step Ahead for over 5 years and have found the service and quality to be nothing short of first class. The owner (Gary) has a fantastic manner and many of his clients seem to know him on a personal level which i find very reassuring. I have had many different services done by the team including shoe repair, watch battery replacements, Knife sharpening and keys cut without any issues at all. I can highly recommend this store and the team at One Step Ahead.

  Needing some shoes resoled urgently for travel I found this store via Google of all things, being local I popped in and asked if I could by chance have them done the same day, much to my surprise the owner (Gary I have since found out) understood my predicament and was happy to push through the job for me. In short picked shoes up in time, repair work was fantastic and surprisingly well priced even though it was rushed as a specials job. Couldn't recommend the team at One Step Ahead enough!

  Great service as always from Gary at One Step Ahead. My favourite winter boots are ready to wear again and so nice and shiny too. It's always a pleasure to deal with the One Step Ahead team - highly skilled in all things shoes, and a lovely personal service.

  Great to find an old-school professional at such a central location. Gary, the owner is a really nice approachable chap has been in the industry for ever by the sounds of things. He certainly knows what to do and has dealt with everything from my hand-made English brogues to my much abused sports shoes. Parking is directly outside, Atlas Coffee is next door and he has lotto. We like!
