  Supermarket that boasts 'lowest prices' in NZ. As for most supermarkets very much plastic heavy. Be great to see the supermarket industry use its power and push suppliers to drop plastic. Check out the hoisin sauce photo that I uploaded... Staff are a good, and positiive, crowd. Owner likes rugby. His like can be very very obvious at times. How safe might the place be in an earthquake?

  It is the local kiwi supermarket, it is more than more better price, actually where you can find all the diverse food materials, particularly all sorts of meat types really suit the demand of the migrants from Asian or globally. It is appreciated!

  like most other pak n saves, the self checkouts need upgrading. They need to be Fail-Safe and have checked to ensure that theres no room for errors of any kind (delays included) before going into operation. You shouldn't have to wait 5 seconds after pressing the start button to scan your items....if countdown has fail-safe systems why cant pak n save? only got an additional star because of the chocolate mousse there bakery occasionally sells makes you go back for seconds, and thirds

  Love Petone PAK n SAVE great specials and we'll stocked. Friendly and helpful staff. Store is always clean.

  Huge well stocked supermarket with many friendly check outs or self serve bays. Well stocked fresh produce, meats, fish, deli, bakery and liquor departments. A novel timber framed under cover car park is appreciated especially with full sun or rain.
