  The supermarket itself gets five stars. However, it only gets three because of the lotto shop inside. My mother sent me in to check her scratchy and her lotto ticket for her as she cant stand crouds. As I was waiting in line, the receptionist, a lady with gray hair and light blue shirt gave me the evils as she served the customer in front of me. When it was my turn, she asked for my ID. Keep in mind that I am TWENTY years old. She did not accept my ID. So, frustrated I went and got my 54 year old mother for proof. Then she refused to serve HER only because I was standing next to her. In the end we walked off, my mother extremely angry and me in tears. We went to the dairy across the road on Queen St and guess what? They served me. Without asking for ID. That woman ruined my day and made me feel like the curse of this planet. I will NEVER buy from that lotto shop agian. If that is how you treat your customers, good luck staying open.

  Need to get a slightly better system for loading trolleys at the counters. Good prices though.

  An OK place to buy your groceries, not a wide range of brands or high quality products like you would find in its sister chain store NW but the shop itself had really helpful and smiling staff.

  Convenient, but the cost of fruit and veggies is much higher here, with far less variety, than some of the local markets around. Also, you need to pack your own grocery bags, pay 5c per bag of you haven't brought your own, and if you are not a permanent NZ resident then you need to bring your passport if you want to purchase alcohol. Not even your driver's licence will cut it

  Going to Pack 'N' Save you get what you're promised, cheap prices. Things here are indeed cheaper than you'd get at its competitors but this comes with a cost. Unfortunately, this causes some, I repeat some not all, of its employees to be a bit lack luster. While others are perfectly fine you do get the one who looks like they'd rather be hanging from a tree than helping you with your shop. In the end though, this is understandable since I'm there for a bargain, not some 5 star service. Apart from that it's a big store with all the stuff one would need in it and a huge range of products
