  As a wife with a husband and 3 kids we would love to see more areas along the river opened up with vehicle access and picnic spots...we have a nice river, let's use it more for family activities!!

  Have been staying here for over 20 years when in town for speedway using cabins and tent sites... This last visit was close to the worst I have encountered, the cabin was dirty - utensils unwashed - no hot water - the list goes on. When we have used the camp kitchen when we tent we have given up on using the hire fridges as they clearly don't keep things cold - there are no dishcloths or dishwash liquid which would help campers to clean up after themselves when using the kitchen.... The BBQ is out of bounds and kept locked at certain times of the year. On the upside the showers are clean. Looking at going elsewhere on our next visit as management don't seem receptive to any comments positive or negative

  Hi good clean camp site. Walks, shopping cycle trails, river walks, gardens etc all around the camp site. Plenty to do. We stayed 4nights instead of two. Will return

  The person who said this was a dirty place was totally incorrect. We have just arrived, have high standards and find the amenities block by our site on Site C area some of the best we have seen. The campgrounds from what we have seen so far look well cared for and the proprietor was very polite. We can’t give it 5 stars as we’ve only been here an hour but reading that other review would have put us off coming here if there had another option and I wanted to get our opinion on line ASAP.

  Verschrikkelijk! We hadden een huisje met twee slaapkamers. De meubels zijn oud. Het bed zakt door. De bank zit je op de houten rand. En wij zijn licht en slank. Het is heel vies. Maden bij de prullenbak. Vliegen en viezigheid in de keuken geplakt. Nooit meer! Neem liever iets anders. We hebben dit in de anderhalve maand reizen nog nooit meegemaakt in nz. Het enige leuke hier was de locatie.
