  Bar Surroundings. Very large portions from a hotel bar type menu. Mostly fried fare but we'll cooked but maybe a bit fatty for "sensitive" digestions. Service very friendly. If it is a "fry-up" you want it would be hard to find better.

  Loved it because my uncle , Frank Shields was the first publican on this site . Years since I had been to Edendale , so lovely to have a beer in the tavern, nice db gold and friendly service
