  The upper Hutt council need to send a clean up crew to pick up the plastic and the odd syringe or 2. Toilet is a mess but that's the public's fault.

  Cool spot. Great for racing drone flying! Shame the trees are as tall as they are... One of my drones is stuck in the tallest branch of one of the tallest trees 😭

  Lovely park. Worth a visit. Have a picnic there. Also the place where they filmed some of LOTR. Isengard.

  Great little community style park that sees plenty of dogs out having a brilliant time.....especially if there are model planes to chase. Always a bit of activity going on whether local sports teams, runners, or just chirpy flocks of parakeets. Go here and enjoy connecting with suburban nature.

  The site where some of the river scenes from The Fellowship of the Ring were filmed, and I suspect a pleasant place to cool off on a hot day. Not a great deal of facilities located there, but given how close to Wellington it is, I don't think that is a big issue.
