  Love love love it, all the yummy beautiful kai, fresh fruit veg and different kai stores. Lovely music or singers as you walk around and see what's good to buy.

  Good fruit n vegetable deals. Maybe a little rougher around the edges for the average tourist but a good insight into NZs Polynesian community living south of Auckland

  The market is getting smaller and smaller. It was a sad day when they moved out of the CBD of Porirua but the City Council of that day were not reasonable and tried the big stick approach. Stalls are manly prepared food stalls of various ethnicities. Only two vegetable trucks support the market; whereas previously 5 or 6 trucks did. Still worth attending though.
