  Walking up the 700 + stairs, past the half-way point lookout and onward up to the Colonial Knob summit is superb. The views are awe-inspiring.

  Great riding through forest a ride for all levels. Open farm land at the top, great views.

  Really surprised by this walking track. I have lived in Porirua for 14yrs and have never been up Colonial Knob before in spite of knowing of its existence. It was a cloudy day, so missed the view, otherwise 6 star's. Went up the four wheel drive track and came down the steps. What a surprise the steps were. Be prepared for a work out either way. Can't wait to do this again on a sunny day and get the reward of the view.

  Worth to climb all the steps. Fantastic view to mana island, tasman sea and wellington. When is clear day rimukata hills. No dogs allowed. Some part is private property so show respect.
