  nice and clean but needs more amenities such as soaps and perhaps 1 free bottled water. other than that it was all good

  Stayed one night. A bit dated but clean and tidy. Lifts are a nightmare as lots of Coach parties use this hotel, long waits! Breakfast ok. Reasonable location not to far from town centre. Quite a few bars and Restaurants around.

  Well equipped if slightly cramped room. Great location in Central Christcurch. Staff helpful and friendly. Bathroom is spacious. Gave this a 3 rating rather than 4 because the two lifts are slow and inadequate for 15 floors, the fan in the bathroom ran constantly and there was a small ledge into the bathroom that i constantly stubbed my toe on.

  I like to stay here when in Christchurch as it's a good hotel close to restaurants and bars. Very close to Cathedral Square. Rooms are also modern and reasonable size. So why not a higher rating? Well the restaurant is not so good for breakfast and the bar area is cramped. And only two lifts means you can wait a while.

  Good clean relatively new hotel bang in the middle city centre. Has a business hotel feel about it. Great comfortable beds and crisp sheets. Polite and helpful staff at reception desk, particularly Amy. Unfortunately this doesn't carry through to some of the staff in the restaurant at breakfast time where we experienced quite rude and unhelpful service on Christmas Day! If they can fix this then it would receive a full 5 stars from me.
