  Right so there is very rude pair of owners running this motor camp to ground!! Wouldn't recommend staying here at all if you and your whanau enjoy having a drink and laugh. Cabins are pretty much infested with all kinds of insects and really are in need of an upgrade. Cleaner lady is really good but other than that definitely wouldn't recommend staying here unless new owners take over! Haha cheers - posting from Southland where we travelled up from to have a very inconvenient stay :)

  Rooms are in need of updates but very clean and tidy. The folk who run the motel are very friendly and helpful.

  The place is OK. Clean kitchen. Nice kettles. However, the shower drain was partially blocked and the owners were friendly in a glum way!!

  Great place to stay, prices are reasonable. Bill and Faye have gone out of their way to help us settle in and provide a lot of helpful advise on where to shop and get organised

  We arrived to the region last minute and 1st took a BnB 12 km away that was way overpriced, small and unclean so we looked online and found this place as most places were booked. We were pleasantly surprised that it was clean, peaceful and very reasonably priced. Despite some of the reviews we read that seemed to be personal dislikes or attacks on Bill, we found him a friendly man and helpful. I do not think you can find a better priced place with the amenities and cleanliness of this place (and I have traveled quite a lot). It is also important to separate personal bias from professional situations. We had a positive experience and would stay there again. We had no problems at all.
