  By Suzi Having read the recent writeups on Saison, a group of 6 friends and I decided to try it out. We had a wonderful night. The service was a perfect mix of friendliness and expertise, we were seated at a long table in the window and found it hard to understand previous written criticism of the decor. We had two courses prefaced with bread & anchovy butter for the table and were presented with two amuse bouche dishes which were a visual delight and quite unexpected. I ordered venison which was perfection - melted in the mouth and lovely vegetables. We ordered extra vegetables which were all outstanding and again visually a delight. Desserts were served on wonderful platters or perfectly shaped glasses. The night culminated with Scott Denning visiting the table and talking us through some questions on the menu, talking about his background and his passion for the restaurant. We felt privileged and will certainly return.

  by kate 1 Recently I dined at Saison with dear friends. It was a special event and we were thoroughly impressed with the superb food and warm personable service. We chose to have the degustation and were delighted by each and every dish that arrived from the kitchen. The menu is beautifully thought through, flavors heavenly! I highly recommend you leave space for dessert, even though every course is delicious, the tarte tatin will hold a special place in my heart...thank you for a wonderful evening.

  Just visist the kitchen... No comments! This place must be closed, the dirtiest kitchen that I saw in all my life!

  Clearly the change of ownership of this restaurant has not worked well (see all the bad reviews on finda and dineout since September 2009) this was the worst experience for food, atmosphere and service we have in memory, the manager / owner is down right rude. Do not go here there are many other local choices with better food and value Robin
