  We received the warmest welcome at Solace. Elaine is a perfect host, the rooms are comfortable, absolutely spotless, and decorated with taste. The views are breathtaking, with rolling hills stretching to the sea or the mountains on the horizon. We had a delicious breakfast and really enjoyed the pleasant conversation with our host. Thank you Elaine!

  We were given a very warm welcome by the lady of the house. After which we were shown to a nice room with a very clean bathroom. The priceless view complemented the fresh made breakfast. A definate 5 stars!

  The views from the bedrooms and the entire home are magnificent-you can see both Mount Cook and the ocean. Breakfast is delicious, and the owner is a jewel-helpful and kind. We highly recommend staying here.
