This is just me putting my brief experience with SIT out into the world so other people can learn from it or use it to make a decision on whether they want to study with these guys. I was enrolled to do a Certificate in Project Management through SIT2LRN, the distance learning course. The course outline said this, "Get started on the path to professional project management by learning the core skills and techniques. This unit standards based Level 4 Certificate will give you the skills and knowledge required to contribute to the management of projects and work with others in a project team. ". This lead me to believe that the course was suitable for someone in my position (Not employed in a projects role full time but with some involvement and interested in pursuing a career in the field), however, I was quite incorrect. The assignments involve no actual learning, they just ask you to provide evidence of having performed particular stages of a project in your workplace, whilst working within a project team. What this means is that if you are working in a projects role with no formal qualification then this course will be an incredibly easy way to get a recognized qualification. On the flip side of that, if you are not currently employed in a projects role or seconded to a projects team you will not be able to effectively complete this course, you could just make everything up but that's not effective learning. TL:DR, to effectively complete this course you must be involved in projects. If you only have minor involvement in projects, or have no experience in projects yet and want to gain some knowledge and qualifications in the field, this course is not for you.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE! It's a scam!!! Online courses are of extremely low quality. I want a refund!!! I would be better off studying on my own. If you are on the fence, just don't do it. You will regret it if you are an excellent student. Yes, I am livid, bitter and disappointed with this course and my treatment by faculty. Steve treated me with respect but was useless. Didn't do his job to proceed with requested appeal. ๐Ÿ˜ก๐Ÿ˜ก๐Ÿ˜ก 20/09/2017 I received a call from SIT today and given grade a month later without any prior knowledge of facilitator comments. This is how valued you are here. They'll just assign random grades without letting you know why... They really strive for that "positive learning environment," don't they? ๐Ÿ˜‚ ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚What a joke. I refuse to accept their BS certificate from their BS course. Stupid grading system, in addition to very little or no feedback at all provided to students. Low quality courses (particularly Health Science Level 3) Study guides with wikipedia links, broken links that don't go anywhere, spelling and grammar mistakes. The person who wrote this BS poorly written "health science course" is supposed to grade my work? Incompetent, rude, patronizing facilitators. If you have any problems at all they'll blame YOU of course. How dare I ask for clarification on the single comment she left on one of my papers "list but don't use indents" (what does this mean???) that she used to mark down one of my papers. To this day, I still do not know what she meant by that because she erased and changed her comment after I asked for clarification. They do not respect you enough to give you real feedback. They just pull random things from the ether. This is the kind of thing you will have to deal with. Just don't do it! If you are a 'B' student this course will be very easy for you as they give you as many attempts as you like to retake the Part A test. And anyone who makes 100% on the first attempt gets a 'B' too. No reward for effort. Sooo fair to everyone. Miss 1 question, you get a D until of course you resubmit your answer, then you get a lovely 'B' grade. Health science online papers are divided into PartA and, optional PartB. Do only PartA and you get a B as long as you eventually answer all the questions. They don't tell you this until after you have paid and started the course. PartA is a short answer test (one test is timed, you will have to do the test and write a referenced paper in 3.5 hours) and you must make 100% (on the first attempt) in order to earn a grade of B with any chance of "topping up", as they call it, your grade to B+, A-, A or A+. If this sounds good/fair to you then by all means join the course. Hidden questions? Joke's on you. Well that's your fault!! Tests indicate: "answer all questions" vaguely. That's all good until you don't see hidden question 16d (because it's on the right side of the screen rather than the left side where all the other test questions are located). I obviously thought I had answered all questions. The tutor will respond to your inquiries disrespectfully and the head of faculty will call you a liar even though you have screenshots to prove that the test was misaligned. Yes, this happened. Achieving 100% (on the first try of PartA) gets you a "B". If you miss a single part of a single question the best you can get overall (with the addition of the partB 500 word research paper) is B+ (99/100 on Part A in addition to writing an A+ paper = B+). What kind of illogical grading system is this? The head of faculty basically called me a liar. She said the test wasn't misaligned and sent me a screenshot of the test after they had aligned it properly. BS They will lie about their tests and find you at fault. EVERYTHING I HAVE WRITTEN IS TRUE AND I CAN VERIFY IT WITH STUDY GUIDES, EMAILS, AND SCREENSHOTS. STUDY HERE AT YOUR OWN RISK. I wish I could get my money and my life back. I wasted 3 months on a silly, meaningless joke of a "health science" course. It's of extremely low quality. Do not make the same mistake I made.

Don't waste your time and energy here. My wife had a terrible experience with some of the staff. Their grading scale makes no sense. It's laughable actually. ๐Ÿ˜‚I saw the test she wrote about and can verify that the questions were misaligned. I would testify to that in a court of law. Honestly my wife could have written a more effective Health Science course herself. If you do decide to do online courses here make sure you send copies of emails to your non-SIT email account and take lots of screenshots so you can catch them in all the lies they enjoy telling their students. We would be upset if their courses weren't so worthless.

Please students don't join into this institution. I faced many problems.they never respond for student queries. If anyone asks they shows the other person for asking. If we asks the other one they shows the other it is a continuous process. There is no end. When they are giving enrolment never thinks about students capability. When giving final result they shows their original face. Don't join in this institute.if you join in this institute it will be a nightmare in your life. Don't enrol into this institute.
