  Lovely food and gave a great beer experience. Enjoyed the comfort while visiting Dunedin for a day. Recommend the nachos, wings and cheese cake

  What a great place. Friendly staff greeted right away and the food was awesome. Not the mention Full wings! Pleasant surprise and a good time. We watched the olympics.

  It is not often I come across a place run by absolute villains, but such was the case this fateful night. I had ordered 4 beers and a vodka and lemonade, totalling $45. (believe it or not this was not the travesty). As I passed the vodka to my friend, it slipped and fell to the floor. Could not be more of an accident (otherwise why buy it right?). They then proceeded to charge me $12.50 for this (I have the receipt to prove it). Not only is that horrific service not understanding an accidental drop, but there's no way a vodka lemonade equates to $12.50, unless each of the beers cost exactly $8.125, which they don't (btw). I argued the mistake only to be told exactly where to go. A horrific establishment, saved only by its location

  I absolutely love going to Mac's... I've never been in daytime but it's great for a night out that's well balanced between ability to talk (mainly their awesome outdoors area) and dancing. They serve proper beer as well. Just to clarify; I have nothing to do with Mac's so I don't earn anything from rating them well :)
