  Fantastic place for my daughter with food allergies- provides Dairy free, vegan, gluten free options & friendly helpful staff, lovely garden.

  Ordered a high tea for my wife's birthday at cottage cafe, the new owner Veronique was so helpful, three tiers arrived on the first two layer sandwiches, cheese and ham with cream cheese with watercress, cucumber and cream cheese, second tier savoury cheese scones just totally delicious, third tier almond and ginger slices + Russian vanilla iced slices with sultanas. Added later on an empty tier, Devon scones, strawberry jam and cream. All wonderful, endless cups of tea. Home baking at its best. The owner did everything to ensure a memorable experience. I recommend this establishment highly if you are at the mount. Lovely garden and a variety of other food and drink are available.

  Great service, a beautiful rustic garden oasis and the best cheese scones Ive tasted for a very long time. Dont give Templeton (the friendly resident cat) any butter because shes lactose intolerant!😀
