  Great bar, both on a lazy Sunday late afternoon/early evening as well as a fun Saturday night. Just wish we had more time to stay later that night! Love the atmosphere and vibe.

  First time at this bar. Very friendly, welcoming, accepting place to be. Had the best time of my life. Will keep coming back time and again. I was quite nervous about this place at first but all my doubts were gone by the time I arrived at the bar.

  Great vibe, very welcoming, the staff is friendly, and the prices are very affordable for Auckland. Beer is only $7.50. I also love their free jukebox.

  If your looking for a bite of the LGBT scene in Auckland, look no further than Eagle bar. Situated right opposite New Zealand's most famous Family bar & club, Eagle offers a more cosy experience where you can mingle with your peers and meet new people. It has an outdoor (smoking) area with a relaxed atmosphere. If your looking to let loose then head inside for a more upbeat vibe a pick a song on the jukebox machine. If your heading out and want a drink before hitting the clubs then give Eagle bar a go. You never know who you might meet.
