  Painfully average. Steak wasn't seasoned before cooked so was bland, no salt and pepper at the tables either. Sticky date pudding was dry and seems like it wasn't made in house. One positive is the front of house staff member we had was super friendly.

  We had the absolute rudest staff members and doorman I’ve ever dealt with. Not to mention terrible and expensive food to top it off. It was appalling and I won’t ever go back. If you’re thinking of booking this space out for functions look elsewhere. I wish I could put 0 stars.

  Really great experience! Food was delicious and they do a decent milkshake (a little thin but very tasty). Over all great experience.

  After reading all the great past reviews I was looking forward to a lovely tender steak. Ordered a medium rare sirloin however the steak was far more rare (to the point of being very rare) than medium rare and was certainly not tender which was the most disappointing aspect. Lovely flavour mainly from the generous slice of garlic butter on top. Friendly staff & nice warm atmosphere with a superb selection of beverages & wine. Overall though disappointed as they are marketed as a specialist steak restaurant. Steve Franklin Rotorua
