  I organised the catering for our wedding through this place - wow what a mistake. Firstly the communication, trying to reach them through phone or email proved very difficult, and as you can imagine, trying to organise a wedding when you can't even communicate with the cater is extremely frustrating. Unfortunately there was no backing out at this stage as we'd already paid a deposit, mistakingly, as the owner tried to tell us he was getting booked up fast, though there was no proof of this. We're not even sure if they have ever successfully catered for 100 people at a wedding before (I've since read other peoples reviews). To cut to the chase everything was so disorganised, the owner hadn't even successfully managed to get matching table clothes 30 mins before the ceremony started (some yellow and too small for the table) causing a lot of stress as these were supposed to be provided the day prior. Numerous mistakes were made, the food was not as previously tasted, swapping beautiful feta for cheap bulk bought feta, roasted beetroot turned into canned, but to top it off on the day, the food mostly came out cold... The usually yummy crunchy potatoes cold and soggy - and even worse the caterer forgot the vegetarian and vegan meals. Eleven people were without meals! This to me was totally unacceptable and basically I just want to warn anyone thinking about getting their catering for their wedding done here - think again!! You do not want to go through the stress we went though.

  Disappointing - won't be going back Took my mother here for brunch and was served a meal with meat in it despite specifically requesting it be left out and confirming this with the waitress. When I complained it was hastily taken back to the kitchen, the meat taken off then served again. For some vegetarians this would be really disgusting and they didn't check with us or offer to make a fresh meal. The coffee was average, though the view and atmosphere of the place is very nice. The staff weren't unkind, but not particularly professional and didn't seem to take much pride in their service.

  Nice people, nice food. The squid was a little over cooked. The broken potatoes are addictive!

  Went in with my fiance last night and we had a fabulous meal. We had the ricotta spinach dumplings, calamari, and steak. Everything was excellent they make a good negroni and the service was extremely friendly and helpful. I'm seeing a lot of reviews saying new management has made this place worse, well if it was better than this than it was excellent. I've eaten all over the world and this was a fantastic meal. I will be back and I would recommend it anyone.

  Great place to have a restaurant, after a good walk food and drink are needed. No baby changing facilities here and the children's menu is very poor but adult meals are very impressive and not what I expected from a place on the side of the road. Beautiful fish dish, squid and meatballs recommend.
