  Good food, great craic! This pub has a really great atmosphere and the the food is good solid pub grub. We stopped in for dinner on a Sunday night and had the steak and the beef and Guinness pie which were both very good. There was an Irish band playing some great live music which really made the evening special.

  A very good Irish pub, with a nice meal selection...BUT...I personally think a better Irish Pub exists in Gisborne. Better food selection again.

  The batter on the fish was so crisp and light and the fish fresh and perfectly cooked. We also had bangers and mash ... also excellent. Service was fast. Wonderful and eclectic surroundings. Lots of seating but well divided into smaller areas with booths.

  Food was really average. After letting the bar staff know that my lamb shank was dry and chewy, they simply didn't seem to care all too much and did not offer any form of solution. We used to eat there frequently around three years ago, and where usually more satisfied. Won't be going back there for a bite to eat.
