  royal hotel tavern. very good Free kereoka Wed Thursday 9.00 pm..to 2.00 am, come on down. Has hot finger foods. Good beers and drinks.

  Really disappointed at this venue, I attended last night to see Stan Walker perform and I waited 4 hours to see him play for 15 minutes. All of the acts prior to him were reggae (minus one) and sounded exactly the same. I almost left without seeing him. The smoking room is openly attached to the main area so the whole time I was just coughing and breathing in smoke that was lingering inside. The bar lady asked me to make my own drink (cranberry and sprite) as she wasn't sure how to. It's not a very diverse place and I felt unsafe and very out of my comfort zone. The steps need to be fixed on labelled so people don't constantly trip. The food looked good and the tv's for the rugby ended up being a life saver.
