::Awesome little area to have a stroll through. Lots of cool events are hosted here, such as the Festival Of Cultures.

::Great wee area to have a stroll through. My 3 year old loves looking at the ducks and crossing the bridge. The art pieces are interesting to look at, as well as the Maori and international info on the rock carvings near Bethanys restaurant. The clock tower lit up and night is a cool focal point also, I love seeing the thematic colours on special occasions too

::It's got potential as a public space but the grass turns into a swamp and aesthetically it's drab. The chess board is cool but it's just a place where strangers hang out and avoid eye contact. I liked it better when you got beaten up for walking in there.

::It is okay place. Not much to do unless you just want to go there and relax. The clock tower is good and garden has a small pond with lot of ducks. So good for kids. There is I-site close by and bus station which connects to intercity. There use to be a giant chess which is no more. You can spend max 15 to 20 minutes here.

::Went with two friends and we shared vegetarian dishes. I like medium heat and my friends like kiwi hot so they made all the dishes medium and then gave them hot curry gravy to add. Everyone really liked the meal.
