::Had the Woodsmiths make my benchtop and open shelves from carbonised bamboo with oil finish. It looks beautiful (much better than any promotional pictures even). Honest and open communication too. Pieces also came delivered wrapped in styrofoam and plastic so there was no way they were going to get damaged in transit.
