  Was served by Mr Akula, the branch manager. He helped me in a great way by 1) giving me suggestions on getting my driver's licence which I forgot to bring along 2) quickly helped to change the car they prepared for us when a tire was torn and no GPS installed. Just when I thought that our anniversary trip was messed up because of my big mistake. Thank you so much

  Always get hire cars from Thrifty. Quick and easy, always have great staff all over New Zealand. Cars are always in great condition.

  Worst rental experience. First two cars had front bald tyres. Although they told us they met the standards, it would not have passed a road worthy check in Australia. Two guys were working on the day we picked it up. The dark hair fella, who was the least experienced of the two was terrific, the sandy haired guy was incredibly arrogant. Rang thrifty head quarters to lodge a complaint about the state of the cars, they said they’d get back to me, surprise, surprise never heard back from them. We ended upgrading the car, with a car that had full tread....thrifty did alright out of the deal. I’d never go with these guys (thrifty again). The second car we picked up from go rentals was a much better experience.

  Good service if late can put the key's in the box. Gates open. Close to the train station. Only 3 minutes walk.
