  I was served my Amanda,such a lovely talented barista. By far one of the best coffee's I have ever had. Will definitely be back!

  Went to 190 Durham st Christchurch Underground Coffee on the 26/3/18 11.50 am there were 4 or 5 people in the Shop with one man waiting to be sereved so not very busy at all. We stood and waited for about 3 minutes with no acknowledgement from either the young lady all the young man behind the counter even though he was making coffee and she was delivering to customers there was not even a smile or I will be with you in a moment. Then when finally served, still no smile and no eye contact whatsoever I really felt like it was an effort for them to be there serving and I was just another bloody customer. I was always taught to at least acknowledge a customer when they walk into your store but this didn't happen. Customer service is not just about serving a customer it's about making them feel happy for being in your store and that they are worth it, thus they will return, this was not the feeling that I or my business partner got. It's a small thing to meet and greet your customers with a smile and a bit of happiness after all it is the hospitality trade. Neither I all my business partner will return or recommend them . It may be a bit harsh but it's how I felt at the time and how the service was.

  Good coffee, reasonable prices. Food is good too, but sells out early in some cases

  Excellent coffee! The best I've come across in chch even in comparison to other places throughout nz that I've been to! They make a wonderful coffee and have the most tasteful beans and ground coffee to make your own.
