  Being a fan of a Vege burger from time to time, and there are some very tasty ones out there, I decided to try the Vegetarian burger on the menu. I would not order it again. It was dry and tasteless. The "Thick Cut Chips" on the side were minimal and cooked in oil that was not hot enough giving a greasy oily crispy taste. It was served on a ridiculously large plate which just didnt look appealing at all.

  The night I dined here the chef's special was lamb ribs. Those were some of the most amazing lamb ribs I've ever had. The whole restaurant was clean and the wait staff were friendly.

  Ate here tonight while staying in the hotel. Three of us all enjoyed our plentiful and really tasty meals - I had the pork belly & loved every bite - and the service was pleasant, friendly and helpful. Will definitely eat here again when visiting Wellington.

  Not as good as a couple years ago, but still decent. All the staff very attentive and kind. Food is above average for New Zealand standard, which considering this is a hotel restaurant, is saying a lot. Grilled eye fillet and chicken breast with roast veggies are still to die for, but they've pulled my favourite dessert off the menu since the last time I was here, so was a bit bummed about that. I won't even mention prices as this is Wellington after all and 95% of places are ridiculously overpriced anyway, so large bill comes with the territory.
