  I attended a wedding two days ago in Wanaka and lost the keys to my hire car. I quickly discovered Europcar didn't have a copy of the key and that I'd need to have the car towed back to Queenstown.... enter Wanaka Auto Centre & Recovery! Rather than just arranging the tow, the amazing Heidi spent 45 mins on the phone speaking with Europcar on my behalf trying to help me out and actually avoid paying for a tow. Its rare to get this level of service and thought it was worth a google review! Thanks so much Heidi and team for being so ridiculously helpful, friendly and professional.

  Best customer service ever! I would give them a gold medal of customer service if there was one. Very helpful, very nice... there are the best of the best!

  These guys failed my car wof in the bases of needed two new wheels and all four wheels needing new shock bushes. I asked them for a quote for the work needing to be done, $1000. I decided to shop around, a Tyre shop checked out my car and their mechanic said that the bushes were absolutely fine. I then tried twice to make contact with aa recovery if they could get their mechanic to explain to me why the bushes failed, but they were not interested in responding. So once the tyres were done I took it to another garage who issued it a wof.

  Honest hardworking mechanics.These guys will go out of their way for you. Reading other reviews for these guys makes me think that people expect professional service for backyard rates. Perhaps the complainers could just do it themselves?
