  Pretty good selection for a local store. On the pricey side, but very knowledgeable staff to get you making the right choice. Also has a brilliant museum of vintage/antique camera gear.

  Very helpful and friendly staff. Also went on a photo walk organised by them which was great. By far the most thorough selection of gear in NZ that I’ve seen also so highly recommended.

  It’s a bit of a Jekyll and Hyde experience here. Sometimes the service is brilliant, staff friendly, funny and helpful. Other times they are rude and refuse to help (about a year ago I was hoping they’d order a lens in but they was told it was too much effort to order in from Nikon). Photographic developing is almost always great with results which is why frequent the store every couple of weeks. I find the experience here disconcerting and after a recent run of poor experiences am looking elsewhere. It’s a shame, I have been doing my best to buy local.

  Great store for most things photographic. They are one of best places in town for prints with consistent quality. Sometimes their stock of cameras and lenses is a bit low so you have to pick you4 time to visit if you want to play with new gear.
