::We visited during the zoo open days - $2 each for entry - and they had even convinced the kiwis to come out to play in the kiwi house (amazing with the number and noise of visitors passing through). The lions were also cooperating, sunning themselves down in front of the viewing areas for a change, while a baboon got excited about a little girl in a pink jacket and put on an impressive display of aggression. If would have been good value for our few hours entertainment at the usual entry price, for gold coin access if was crazy value.

::Love this place. It feels so natural wandering the paths and coming to exhibit after exhibit where the animals seem content in their environments. Have previously done 3 of the close encounters (cheaters, lemurs and red pandas) and they were stand out life experiences!

::Loved it. So much to see. Needed a good 4 hours there. Took a stroller (mountain buggy) around the whole park and although so areas were steep it was quite manageable. Stopped for lunch at the cafe half way around - not a great range for the young kids. we'd have been better to get back to the cafe by the entrance for more variety.

::What a great zoo! Me and my friend had a blast walking through it! I saw a kiwi bird!! Although I don't have a photo of it to show all of you. But it was an amazing experience! I will highly recommend this. The customer service there was really helpful as well! And a cute gift shop.

::It's a fun place, especially for families with little kids. It's one of the smallest zoo I have been, but I don't mind. Even with little children half day is enough to see it all without rush. Some animals are good at hiding and hard to spot but some, like emus are walking freely in the zoo. There are a lot of entertaining and learning corners what both I and my kids love. Also, I like the idea of having a great amount of playground structure in different spots, like sandbox, slides trampoline, climbing wall, animal sculptures, so the kids have fun while walking from one animal to the other. The only reason I gave 4 starts, because I think it is very fun with kids, but maybe not so entertaining for an adult only.
