::The camping is nice. The facilities are clean but basic. There are grassy fields for the tents. The camping needs to be accessed from the main road.

::Rude and pretentious. Got abused and sworn at by the owner. I took a wrong turn onto this business driveway, turned around to leave, and got waved down by the manager, who I apologised to. I thought the road accessed the park and river for kids to play, but he then swore at me, and called me a wan*er as I left. I said that cant be good for business, and he yelled out "bye wan*er" in front of all the kids. Pretty skungy looking rats nest of a place, yuck.

::Paid the owner $10 to use the dump station then the owner got abusive because my wife dared to use the toilet. Apparently we are dishonest even though we offered to pay extra. I would seriously avoid this place.

::Nice campground with a big grass area for tents (ground is a bit hard though). Good bathroom and kitchen. There is some wifi, although we didn't have any during our stay due to a storm. Cute miniature pony, friendly cat, and it's right next to a park that was used for filming Lord of the Rings. Only a short drive to Wellington, good place to stay after or before taking the ferry.

::Dated, but clean facilities and grounds. More outdoor lighting would add a more welcoming vibe. Love the horses onsite.
