::Accidentally came across it today and took a quick look inside and watched the free 25 minute documentary which was amazing!👍 Will definitely be going back to do the 2 tours, 1 of the miniature sets they build and the other the props-makeup dept. Around $25 each for adults. Less for kids. A must do for anyone at all interested in movies in general but a mecca for sci-fy fans! 💗

::Second visit, did the Combo tour both times. Loved it both times. Highlight of any Wellington trip. The Windy Wellington giant sign is on the way for a photo op. A heads up that it is a working studio in a residential/industrial area, so no you are not going the wrong way. Don't expect the Universal Studios gate. Lots to see in the entrance area/shop with many photo opportunities. Weta have been behind an astonishing number of films and games - not just Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit, I wont say anymore and will let you discover. There is no cafe on site. Go to the loo before the tour.

::Amazing place. It really brings up all the emotions of your favourite movies to life. It was incredible to get an in depth experience and a behind the scenes tour. The amount of work and passion that goes into every project is mind blowing. They have even provided a complete exposition on the Gallipoli War and the realistic models of the war hero's is out of this world.
