::Great waterfall free admission. Wish to have more places to sit down the fall. The road outside is another shxt job by nzta or Fulton hogan or whoever did the re-sealing work. Lots of stone chips everywhere which looks like a third world country road. Actually more NZ roads look like this. Crapy roads everywhere.

::Was great. But that was end of summer. It would be fantastic during spring or after a good rain :)

::Love this place - so easy to access but once there you feel you're in another world (Jurassic Park maybe). Stunning...

::A nice waterfall with several viewing and photo points. The walk down is a bit run down and can be a bit slippery during wet weather. Though it's highly recommended to stick to the footpath, you can go behind the fall by walking through the stones around the lake at the bottom of the fall. Not sure whether it's safe to swim in the lake though. There's a family of duck that live on the lake.

::Huge amazing waterfall! Located close to the town which is just a short 5 mins drive away. The quick brisk walkway loops around the waterfall and gives a good view of the waterfall. Water quality warning signs for no swimming, but still able to see eels in the clear water. Ample parking for those driving to visit, or just stopping to use the public restrooms.
