  Absolutely loved this experience again. We took our grand daughter with us as she firmly believes that the fairies live on White Island. The wonderful team went above and beyond their duties to make a little girls dream come true by placing pre-bought crystals for her too find. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

  OMG this place is unreal. The boat ride was a little choppy and my travel friend got a little sea sick she was well looked after by the staff who really cared how she was doing. The island greeted us with a seal on the rocks. On the island approaching the crater the sights are beyond believe and our guide Sarah knew so much and was a great guide. This place is a must see.

  After bad weather delayed departure it was third time lucky definitely a good idea to have a few days up your sleeve if you are keen to do this trip. Worth the wait ...we did tongariro crossing a few years ago which was awesome but if you want to get up close and personal with an active volcano this is the trip for you. Great guides...thanks Cole and Amy a bonus was seeing dolfins on the way home thanks to our keen eyed skipper.

  EDIT: determined-we just kept rebooking, rearranged some other hotels/stops on the holiday to keep trying at this tour. We lucked out and got to go. WORTH THE WAIT AND ANY HASSLE. Seriously amazing, and your staff handled it great from start to finish. So I’ve changed my score: when it actually can run it’s a 10/10 Original:Cancelled, tell us late the night before we go. Rebooked for the next day, call us evening before to say “maybe” then cancelled again in the morning just before it was due to go. The weather has been perfect the last two days but the swell or things makes it the boat trip unsafe. Not really the staffs fault, you’ve got safety regulations to meet, but they kept leaving us hanging. It was meant to be the big highlight of the holiday and we could just sit in the hotel room waiting on confirmation. So disappointing.

  A seriously good trip and tour. The crew aboard the "phoenix" were brilliant and Kelsey and Phillip who guided us around the island were fantastic. Extremely helpful, friend and knowledgeable. Beautiful weather and scenery. And all topped off with the dolphins putting on a great display. Highly recommended.
