::I can see why so many kiwis are turning down jobs in their droves - corporates demanding invasive medical tests as part of an application process, drug tests i can understand because if you have nothing to hide you shouldn't worry but just waiting for the medical tests to be undertaken is enough for an anxious persons BP to hit the roof (as well as the thought of being diagnosed with an underlying previously unknown condition) and so thus rendering their job application unsuccessful . Now I can understand a medical is required for jobs like bus or train drivers and pilots but for office jobs and construction jobs (other than crane operators) they are not needed. Corporates have no right to snare into their potential employees private issues. Thank you.
