::I love this beautiful park. The massive trees are really impressive. There are lovely circular walls, a wonderful water feature and public toilets at the car park. A great place for a peaceful picnic!

::Great park with a lot of historic trees. It also has great hiking pathways that you can easily walk with your kids.

::A beautiful park to walk with the family and the dog. The specimen trees are amongst some of the tallest in NZ and are quite spectacular. The kids love to play in the waterfall and stream while the family utilises the free gas barbecues. It's a great place to spend some time.

::Beautiful inner town park with something for the whole family. New shaded playground for the kids, water features, mature trees, plenty of parking, and bench seats, a BBQ area and tidy toilets. Share an hour or two of fun with the kids hunting for painted rocks hidden around the grounds. Enjoy. P.s the gates are locked at about 8pm but the friendly security lady will usually suggest you remove your car first. :-)
