  A place that has previously held wondefu memories for me was tipped upside down after staying 1 of 2 nights booked at the motel wiith my friend and I. After my friend and i being in the hot thermal pool in the evening for about 20 minutes we caught a face pearing at us through the residence top window overlooking the pool, after the face pearing at us had been seen by both myself and my friend the face continuted to stare back at us on and off for just arouond 35 mintues. Management were infomred tht evening there was a person in their residence watching us and we were offered nothing, not even a phone call, a suggestion to contact police. WE checked out as soon as we could the following morning and will never be returning.

  This was an amazing little resort! It was very spacious inside and enough space to sleep 5 people!there was an amazing view of the lake with a balcony to enjoy your morning coffee. There is a washer and dryer on site and a small pool which is heated through geothermal energy! A full refrigerator and kitchenette to make some food or warm up dishes and enjoy some coffee or tea. There is also a huge jacuzzi in the main room big enough to fit our entire family! Definitely recommend! My only issue was the parking situation. Extremely small parking space for the tenants and it is very tricky to see where to turn in from the main highway!

  Superb rooms with superb view. Well worth the money we spent. Will definitely recommend this for anyone visiting Taupo. It's around 2 km from the center of the city though, which is the hub re cafes, restaurants etc, although there is a nice cafe just next door

  Had a great stay! Loved the big spacious rooms and backing straight onto the lake. Nice warm swimming pool. Only downfall is getting charged before I went as we wanted it charged to a different card.

  Absolutely amazing! Homely feel, great owners to deal with which makes all the difference! Lake view rooms are exactly how they should be, nice and close! We woke up early & opened our balcony door and listened to the water lap the shore. So peaceful! They are well priced being that close to the lake and close to town. Carolyne & John even fitted us in with late notice thank god otherwise we would have been sleeping in our car. They are honest with their description/photos & amenities list. 100% recommended for your stay in Taupo!
