Encountered with a very rude stuff, the egg tart has water inside, and has a taste of alcohol, it’s a failure and not edible!! While the stuff told us the egg tart is exactly how it should be like, but my friend and I all agree it’s not what we usually get. They gave our money back of the egg tart, but that stuff is very rude.

Luv a place that provides me with a great eating experience every time i choose to eat their! I have frequented china town palmerston north for well over a decade and it has been consistent every time! I walk in and get seated and within 5 minutes i hav chilled water plus jasmin tea ready to pour. The next visit is the trolley laden with treats from chicken feet to sticky rice and other great ready to eat steamed morsels. I visit at least once a month. Great food, great service

Food is reasonably fresh and tasty, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Buffet is standard fare most nights and is good value ~$20 includes buffet main, dessert, and soups. Yum Cha on Sundays is hugely popular so best to arrive early for lunch. Other times there is plenty of space. This is a great place to bring groups or the whole family.

Had Yum Char lunch only. The prawn dumpling, tripe, turnip cake, BBQ pork buns and chicken feet were average. Mind you I am comparing these to the restaurants in Auckland. The ice cream balls and Syrian dessert balls are excellent. Friendly staff. Air conditioning was not working on balmy summer day. This made if a somewhat uncomfortable lunch.

Really great for family dining or a casual meal. Great value for money. Thursday to Sunday there is a buffet - all you can eat or choose from a large menu variety. Yum Cha on Saturday. We go every couple of weeks.
