City to hobsonville ferry. The ferry is a significant noise hazard and travellers should be wearing hearing protection as the noise on the ferry will ensure hearing loss after a few trips or even just 1. I dont know how the service is allowed to operate as the noise would not comply with any regulations regarding noise levels for employees or the public. This is quite serious.

Shouldn't Fuller guys tell their guests before boarding the ferry that on Easter Day,Wine Tasting is not possible in Waiheike like any other day.Its not their hard and fast duty but isn't that a good gesture when Wine tasting is a key attraction Planned Waiheike trip yesterday on Easter and had some plans in Mind for a Fab wine tasting time and fun along that....Shocking Suprises unravelled once the boat reached Waiheike about liquor restrictions due to Easter. Shouldn't Fuller's kind of inform their guest this when they know wondering tasting is one of the key atrractions in Waiheike and no point telling this post u reach there coz u can't undo the trip. Its no good marketing and not too happy with that

Worst customers service I have ever experienced. They would not let me board the ferry to the Tiritiri Matangi island, that runs ones a day. I have arrived to the marina 20 minutes early, and was looking for a ferry terminal. There wasn't any, so I thought that I can buy tickets on board. But when the ferry arrived, they said that there is a booth to buy tickets at on the other side of the parking lot. I asked if I can run down to buy the tickets, but they told me that the person who sells the tickets is at the ferry, but cannot sell the ticket to me. So the ferry left and let me stranded, and I travel 20000 km to be kicked off the ferry, and not to see the island. I guess that what happens when you have monopoly on running ferries, you don't have to worry about your customers.

The ferry on a Sunday is busy, I get that. But without airflow and no discernible air conditioning it was unbearable. Babies crying from overheating and people fanning themselves. On inquiring with a staff member I was told that air conditioning was only put on intermittently. Additionally the 'free wifi' seems to be a myth. This is the second time that Fullers has been used recently and the wifi was not available.either time. We need competition again to achieve reasonable fares and service.
