  This is a lovely little airport with friendly and helpful staff. It is very well organised. It is so convenient for hundreds of people. I wish there were more destinations available, especially after the virus and lockdown, people wanting to go more nz places

  During my cross country days as a pilot this was one airport where most of us used to do touch and go. We used to start from Whanganui and track down south usually on track Nelson, Wellington, Motueka, Woodbourne or Omaka. The AFIS in Paraparaumu are quite friendly. From a passenger's perspective it's a small airport near Wellington with easy access.

  I loved flying into here on returning from trip to London, it always feels like coming home. Small but welcoming and incredibly friendly.
