Just don't go there, guy at the desk is really nice but the person in charge nor nice or helpful. Walk a bit more and go to another post office where people are actually there to help you.

sadly cannot give no stars , when you contact nzpost they read a script attempting to tell you anything that they think you want to hear simply to get you off the phone and defer your complaints to yet another day , in the hope that you give up Some of the stories I have heard from nzpost would gladden the heart of a soap opera writer

NZ Post might be the most disorganised and, worse, dishonest official organisation in NZ. They refuse to take any responsibility for items posted from overseas which they are employed to deliver within NZ; if they lose one, it's essentially "too bad, nothing you can do about it." I've recently trying to resolve a situation in which they claimed they delivered a package to me, then confirmed to me that it was lost, but wouldn't confirm this to the sender, even though they forced the sender to seek compensation from the point-of-origin postal service (who hadn't lost it, NZ Post had). They also tried to claim that although they'd confirmed the item lost in late June, they had then delivered it in early June. Time doesn't run backwards, guys. This review has turned into a crazed rant, but that's what dealing with NZ Post will do to you.

One of those older buildings lined extensively with white asbestos under its internal and external cladding as seen from the 2016 Wellington quake. Sadly the number of people who have died from working in this building are kept fairly quite from the 70s and 80s. I know of six but I'm sure there are many many others... I wonder how many have been informed? Better to build a new building and start again!

The lady at main reception is absolutely no help at all and isn't interested in helping anybody. Don't really know what she does there all day? Go around the corner to the paying counter and box lobby and the staff there are absolutely amazing
